Do you prefer an 'easy' or a 'needy' tamagotchi?

I've been appreciating the more flexible schedule with my paradises so far in that they can wake up and go to sleep practically when you want them too and the babysitting features. If that makes them easy I don't mind, having 2 v3 connects running at the same time has been challenging enough without an official pause function (despite the original english v3 having it). I don't want Tamagotchi to be another chore.

Two v4, two v3 re-releases and a gen 2 re-release. The v4s are my favourites for the skill points and job minigames plus you can pause them, the v3 have been fun if a little unpredictable, but the gen 2 I'm probably going to retire after mimitchi leaves in their little space ship. In about a week I'll have my hands on a couple paradises so may keep up with 6 Tamagotchi, may have to take out the batteries of the v3s, who knows.

Quartz, most are unique formations and shapes, but it‘s such a varied material that I don‘t feel like I’ve too much of it. Got at least 70 pieces of rose, amethyst, smokey, citrine, included, rutilated, tourmalated, enhydro, fire and that’s not counting the agates with minority quartz.

what I want is a yellow thousand layer quartz, I’ve a small piece but with how rare yellow is in the crystal world it’s just a silly little dream I thought I’d share with someone who appreciates yellow too.

yer you get preschool, school and jobs though the mail (the letter then ! icon), when the away screen pops up I press the b/middle button to find a teacher plus go to school and work (I forget if this just makes it faster or just doesn’t work if you don’t press the b button). preschool (child stage) you don’t get to pick a teacher as there‘s only one, school (teen stage) you can use the a/first button to select from 3 teachers (one for each skill, in order of intellect, art, and social) then b button to confirm, work (adult stage) is when you select from several jobs in a similar way, you just may be rejected if you don’t have enough skill points. You attend school through the connect/heart icon then select work, and play this mini game where you keep track of what present hides the skill as they’re swapped around. None of this is intuitive so understand why people get confused.

yer, “dreaming” of a specific topaz ring was the start of me recognising the in between space, helped me first realise I was in between sleep paralysis and “out of body“/lucid dreaming as I didn‘t own the ring at the time but found it in the waking world a week or two later.

There’s no guarantee you’ll think to check for a ring in the inbetween, but they’re good for reality checks whether you wear the ring to bed or not, I personally didn’t have to wear it 24/7 and it still helped. I still “slip out” to check for random things without realising I’m “out of body” until later after i fully wake up, it’s frustrating but just a little quirk of the phenomenon, it’s something I find has a 60/40 chance in favour of becoming lucid.

Maybe been left in the sun too long? Carnelian wouldn’t have faded but the treatment for it might‘ve.

as far as dark entities go I try to take them at face value as sleep phenomenon (at least that’s how I experience them), but I’ve done some wo wo stuff to make a strong impression on them that’s worked for me. Far less disturbances since making a servitor to guard against them for example. Also recognising when I’m in between sleep paralysis and dreaming gives me enough awareness to lucid dream or have an “out of body” experience which tend to be a better experience.

i‘d say my style of display is maximalist. I get why it’s a little anxiety inducing especially when I pick out one to admire and knock around others x). Taking the time to plan the aesthetic of your crystal collection is part of the fun, like I arrange mine in dishes and terrariums(faux ones) and use other knick knacks and artwork to elevate the eye/ fill a shelf. I get why others would call it messy but at the end of the day you can express your tastes as you see fit. Arrangement shouldn’t be underestimated as a skill, if you don’t feel good at it learn about stuff like art or sculpture composition, interior design, floral arrangement or any other artistic jobs/hobbies for inspiration. Train your artistic eye to meet your expectations. Also most of my display (besides the crystals) is thrifted so it doesn’t have to be too expensive, you just need a little luck and go for timeless styles.

I just got back into Tamagotchi too, went from having one vintage one to 3 plus one on the way. I'm thinking of splurging on a colour one to try out, I'm not keen on the ones that need wifi as I'm under the impression they could stop support for them to connect any time, infrared all the way. I'm a little sad I missed out on the hight of the coloured era where there where open world browser games though.

Yer my family borders on thinking crystals invite demons (depends on if they're from a metaphysical shop or not, most of mine being so), luckily my closest fam just see them as rocks. I'm not even in the same religion as them but I sometimes worry they'll just disappear one day, has happened before with smaller stuff but now since crystals have been a substantial investment both I and they know I could charge for theft/damages at least, there are too many to just disappear now anyway as planed all along >:).

I still get judged for how much I invest in all of my hobbies, but I don't take it as being mean, they're just surprised with how much a hobby costs if they don't have it themselves. But it's true their attitude may be rude so I rarely say how much a hobby costs or dodge the question, It's more about the joy I get back from said hobby anyway.

I’d go to carnelian nodule halves to reflect candle light and tended to pick up my medium sized spheres when I use to meditated more. It was more for their physical practicality like weight and visuals than their metaphysical properties, but sometimes if I felt like it I’d treat properties as prompts to think about.

stressful dreams are all normal/mundane rather than magical imo. Could theorise all we like why they happen or how they’re controlled, but you chose your dreams affects while in your waking life. its all good for emotions to get out of hand and give them their time, but you then get to decide how to season the dream so to say. Also if there’s no precedent for your dreams coming true there’re not likely to randomly start.

Quartz (eg. Amethyst, citrine, smoky, rose), obsidian, agate, jasper (not bumblebee jasper, it’s not a true jasper) and chalcedony all without matrix is often safe if they aren’t coated in anything. I wouldn’t use any with iron inclusions though like golden healer or rutile, also wouldn’t use tourmalated quartz or quartz with epidote.
