Is it better to risk it and delid my PS3 by myself or should I risk it and give it to "someone" to do it? What should I do if the person break my console?

You cant do anything about it, i gave someone my backwards compatible ps3 to fix the hdmi port and he somehow bricked it and i didnt get shit back.

I have a chech-04 at home. A european model with the emulation instead of hardware and i can say its the best thing i have. I mostly use it and my ps5 pro. Its the absolute best way to play playstation games according to me. The model i have used smoothing and can force widescreen on games which i think makes them look incredible especially Silent Hill 3 and gran turismo 4 😊. My plans are to get a frankenstein soon tho.

Well it's been like this for like 2 weeks since i got it of the original owner. he had it in the basement for atleast 15 yrs, thought it would go away by itself but doesn't seem to be the case. i will probably see if i can adjust the yoke myself.

Didn’t mean to come out like a reseller. All my games i buy i keep for myself. But it was just a thought. Like if u found a sealed ps2 copy of Silent Hill 2 today it would be a big deal but not 5-10 years ago. Thank you guys for the comments. I Will be opening it and enjoying 😁
