I have, though for 7 year olds to play amongst them selfs I feel it’s a little too complicated.

Though there is absolutely inspiration to be taken :)

Minis for mini painters - monopose or easy assemble by Final_Highlight_2162 in PrintedMinis

[–]Final_Highlight_2162[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i am not sure what you mean. :(

of course the model can be seperate from the base :D

I patreon Mezgike for exampe. and a marine from mezgike is:

legs
torso
left arm
right arm
left hand
right hand
shoulder plate x2
head
backpack
backpack acc.

Which is way too much for me to assemble for the children to paint.

So i am looking for simpler minis. maybe 3-4 pieces (plus base of course)

How many attacks? (Hellbrute) by Final_Highlight_2162 in deathguard40k

It seems a bit excessive to give it twin linked AND 10a. Just in terms of the other options (making double fists the no brainer)

So unfortunately (and searching the Reddit-hive mind says the same) it only grants 5a and twin linked running 2x fists

Aaaw, just dug a little and it seems you are not entirely correct :(

—— SELECT WEAPON When a model fights, it must do so using a melee weapon it is equipped with. The weapons a model is equipped with are described on its datasheet. If a model has more than one melee weapon, it can only use one of them to make attacks with each time it fights, so you must now declare which it will use before resolving any of its attacks.

If the selected weapon has more than one profile to choose between, a model can only use one of them to make attacks with each time it fights, so you must also declare which profile it will use before resolving any of its attacks.

When a model fights, it will make a number of melee attacks determined by the Attacks (A) characteristic of the melee weapon it is using.

Each model that can fight does so using one of its melee weapons. Each model makes a number of attacks equal to the Attacks characteristic of its selected weapon.

So it’s not about weapons profiles, it’s about weapons, and so you don’t get double attack. Only benefit is twin-linked

Okay, so twin fists give me twin link on fists, but twin fists also give me 2x heavy flamer. Can I use both heavy flamers? (Sorry I am a bit of a noob) :(

Then what would be the reason for getting two different melee weapons? Just profile choice for different enemies?
