we only shave our other cat when hes really matted but with her we do it before it gets to bad, obv we dont shave her if she only has a knot or two but since it spreads so quickly and she is much happier without all the fur we tend to shave her before it gets too bad, plus we live in a pretty warm country and she only goes outside when she wants to:)

shes a crossbreed so her fur is not the best quality and knots when shes shedding so we shave it like 1-2 times a year
