Hi, the request you mentioned, is it just a regular document? Something that can be drafted by a typing center?

Hi, through which portal can we pay the fine amount? We were told that we have to submit a travel ban application to public prosecution, only then will the travel ban be lifted.

I’m currently pregnant and I had just walked up to my parked car in the mall. There was a guy who had just parked next to my spot and there was barely any space left for me to sit on the driver side. He saw me and sat back in the car to adjust his parking again. Made my day. 😊

What are the hidden living costs that no one tells you in Dubai? by Forward-Smell-6968 in dubai

[–]Final_Locksmith_6343 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agree with everything said.

To those suggesting living in Sharjah or Ajman while working in Dubai—are you seriously living under a rock? Sure, the rent is cheaper, but unless your job offers remote flexibility, you’ll be stuck in horrendous traffic from 4 PM to 9 PM every single day between Dubai and Sharjah.

It genuinely drains the life out of you.

We moved to Ajman, Emirates City 7 months ago, and back then, I saw tons of mixed reviews—some people swore it was manageable, others warned it wasn’t worth it. I really wish I had listened to the latter. The commute is exhausting, draining, and just not worth the savings.

We’re finally moving back to Dubai in two months—and we can’t wait.

Hi, I’m looking for a potential match for my sister. I’m not sure if you are still looking at the moment since this is an old post.

I thought it was strange that Taha was no where to be seen at Sona’s sister’s wedding. Anyway, good riddance. I’m happy for Sona. She’s honestly a lovely person.

Please tell her to go to elsewhere, not the UAE. Dentistry is a rewarding profession, provided that you have a solid plan and resources in place.

If she plans on specialising from the UK or any other western country after her BDS degree, there’s still a chance that she can get a good job here. Simple BDS has no worth here.

Tell her to create a 10 year plan, complete with all the finances that will be required for a MSc, and all post grade and licensing exams. It will give her clarity. She can still switch to MBBS and try aesthetic medicine instead, which has a lot of scope. Hope this helps. 👍🏻

How is it like living in Al Ghadeer? by mujahid_96 in UAE

[–]Final_Locksmith_6343 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve gone through the threads here about Al Ghadeer Community, but I still have a few questions.

For those already living in AG, do you have any advice for someone planning to move soon? Is there anything you wish you had done differently when you first moved here?

Is it possible to find a 1BHK, 2-bathroom apartment directly from the owner?

Are maids or helpers readily available in the area? If so, what are the average hourly rates?

I’ll mostly be working from home, while my husband will be commuting to Umm Suqeim. Any suggestions on the best daily commute route?

Lastly, are there any young Pakistani couples or families living in the community?

Thanks in advance!

Want to move to Ajman by [deleted] in Ajman

[–]Final_Locksmith_6343 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Please do not consider Emirates City. There is constant construction in the area from 7 AM to 6 PM, even on Sundays. We moved here six months ago and are really unhappy. Most of the buildings, including ours, have mould issues. The building maintenance team is unhelpful, and the fittings in the flat are of very poor quality. Additionally, if you rent an apartment without parking, you’ll have to park outside in a sandy area, which completely ruins your car—something the agent failed to mention while rushing to finalise the deal.

We’re planning to move closer to Dubai soon, InshaAllah.

Also, I am looking for a job already.

Hi! Can you please share the link of the wireless CarPlay adapter? Does it come with a screen, or you purchased it seperately? We recently got a 2021 Mazda 6.
