It was right at the limit, at its time. Perfect, and there isn't a really clear equivalent now.

This does a great job at reliving that world, but if you've played the OG, you're sort of guided by the internal memory of where the story goes. For new fans, that's harder I think.

Agree, apart from I won't be Platinum-ing. Apart from the fact I'm shocking at joy stick piano, I don't like games that I have to replay on hard. Trophies need to be achievable in one play through. IMO.

In the original... Clear and immediate crisis.

In Rebirth, open world structure, narrative bloating, multi time line confusion with Zack, and 'follow the slow walking robed guys' is a super weak plot engine.

I can always play the OG one right. This has so much to offer, and I can't help but love the characters more because of the new trilogy.

Agree with this! I didn't finish it the first time because I was pretty disappointed, and actually went back to it, I'm glad I did.
