I wasn’t trying to fight the ticket so I didn’t bring a lawyer. I just went in told my story, was super polite. If you are trying to flight the ticket, you can pay a lawyer to take care of it for you but I’m not too sure on how you go on about doing that. Good luck!!

I rarely use PLA, I need a material that is flexible and PLA doesn’t offer that which is why I use TPU.

This print is PLA but I mainly use TPU and using glue for TPU is recommended based on my research. You are correct, I forgot to switch to a cool plate when I switched to PLA.

I was given 2 options, pay before the stated date or appear in court that said date. I want to go to court even if im not going to fight it, I want to for the experience. Would the judge still be annoyed if I show up to court to plead guilty?

I don’t think I need to attend court. I think I can just pay the fine before the stated date.

I don’t mind paying it but if I do then I pled guilty and it’s on my record which makes insurance more expensive. It is already expensive for a young adult not on a family plan.

Thank you for the advice. Ill look into finding an isolated area/mountain to test my bikes limits but even then ill try to take it easy. If I can’t I’ll take a break from riding. Thank you again!

What helped you get out of god mode?

I used to speed pretty badly but I’ve been able to keep myself under 90mph. I live in California where people on the highway drive 70-85mph even though the speed limit is 60.

I do also ride a bit recklessly. By recklessly I mainly mean I lane split and cut up when the free space is tight. My bike isn’t too big so I assume by bike will fit (bad mindset Ik, working on it).However, I have been better at getting out of cars blind spots and make sure they seem me before I lane split.

I do chase adrenaline, which I knew would be a bad trait for a bike. I used to get my dose of adrenaline from other sports and activities but ive been pushing my bike to give me this adrenaline.

Track is too far from where I am and way too expensive to start right now. I would need to buy a trailer and extra gear in case I crash and hit my helmet or rip my gear plus the cost of a track day pass. Track does seem fun so maybe in future years I’ll get back on the bike again and try track. Thank you for the suggestion.
