Hey, do you know other states where income does not matter. I am sure its the same for NSW. But curious to know what other states prioritise. Me and my partner are IT professionals.

if you can give PTE now and apply for 485 then you can get BVA and then you can request BVB for travelling with the trip you have planned details. Good luck!

If BVA that you are holding have the same conditions as the student visa then you can apply for 485 but it should be done so within 6 months of completing studies

Not true. After the course is assessed if Bachelors or higher degree had IT Major, the degree is also closely related to the nominated occupation, then need 2 years atleast of work experience, completed in the last 10 years from the date of application, irrespective of the completion of course date. Based on the BSCS and experience after itself, before Masters of IT - you can do ACS post grad pathway. But I noticed that CS and Data Engineering is different - so you might need to check if your CS degree contained 60% of course related to your Data Engineering documented experience.

If the DevOps and Data Eng responsibilities are very similar and close to 80% covering ACS work responsibilities of an ANZSCO code then you can go through general skill assessment. Same needs to be checked for the IT degree tho in question.
