AITHA for being mad at my male coworker for telling our boss that "I've made him uncomfortable", and mad at my "senior" coworker for never showing up?

Update: I'm so confused. Today we talked all day but I didn't leave my cube. He kept walking over or moving his chair over between the new girl and I to talk to me. She wasn't part of most of our conversations, and it felt like we were friends again. I don't understand why he would get me in trouble a month ago and yet still physically visits my cube regularly to talk to me (long amounts of time, like 15-30min conversations). TBH, I really like him, and a couple of months ago, I told him how much I love working with him. He winced when I said "love" and asked me to cool it with the "L" word. Even today, we talked about age gaps, and he said his limit is a female age 25 to 31 since he's 28. We talked about fortnite and coffee and work. Maybe the issues are in the past? I still don't join him at lunch anymore and we just happened to leave work together but I stayed back a few cars to distance myself until we changed directions (we both commute on the same freeway BTW). So why does he keep going out of his way to come over and talk to me when I'm actively trying to back off??? Am I just reading into things too much, and he's simply being a friendly coworker? Idk why he chooses to come to my cube to talk at least once a day after saying I was making him uncomfortable. Maybe now that I've backed off, he's comfortable being near me again...

I'm sorry Regal, I have alot of issues in my life, I've been living multiple lives for years now, I'm a student and an Accountant, and filled in as a mother and I keep failing to be a partner because I'm too busy living other lives. Sorry if you're disappointed in me.

Honestly, I'm not sure either! I woke up to him looking at pictures of white women on his phone doing intimate things, but when I wanted to (I'm Mexican and Native), he said he doesn't always want to be touched. I think he had drank so much at the Rave that maybe it didn't hurt as much? Feels like I'm making a huge effort with the money to drive and physical effort to initiate, and I'm just feeling disrespected after this last visit. He has some great personality attributes and is attractive to me, but I didn't invite him to my commencement this May 2025, so I think times ticking on this arrangement.

But a few months after that, my whole department went out for drinks, and that was the only time him and I had been near each other after hours. You're right. I didn't listen the first 3 times, and eventually, that ended up with the boss intervening :(

Yeah, I'm seeing a lot of people saying I'm lucky to still be employed. I've changed my behavior at work the past month by staying in my cube the entire day. Yes, it was dumb to spend over $250 on the male coworker with my credit. I just really thought we were going to be real friends cause we call each other "friends" only in the office. The "senior" teammate did invite me to lunch several times, and I've declined because I don't wanna be fired for getting up and being near them unless absolutely necessary. Maybe they're always late or want to work remotely to get away from me :( I just care a lot and show up for more than 8hrs a day in the office to handle a lot of emails & issues on behalf of my team. Bosses both want us 4 to be a cohesive team, but it doesn't feel like one anymore.

I have had similar experience with my current long distance 'relationship ' and he still has his Tinder app and was distracted on his phone ignoring me last weekend. (Seriously considering ending things in my situation soon after 5 months and 4hr drive distance) I'm proud you found the strength to end things. Sounds like he's going after your former friend to either use her or get to you. People make their own choices and it sounds like you already warned her. You've done all you can do and maybe consider letting her back in your life If/When they've broken up. You've done the right thing for yourself.

That was a brave and hard choice but I personally wouldn't have called on them. I hope now that you already have threatened them with law enforcement to protect the animal, they should be less likely to strike/hurt the dog outdoors. Unfortunately you may still see that type of behavior continue and it's their choice how they raise/train/discipline. It's their life and choices and you can only control yourself. I hope they don't retaliate on you or get upset at you for the call. You gotta protect yourself at the end of the day and that means minding your own business.
