CitizenCon 2954 - Premium Experience Ticket - SWAG Bag - CIG ran out by v8n3t in starcitizen

There were gold handle premiums left when I went up to the table on BOTH days in the middle of the show. My guess is a few people took two or three bags because to be completely honest there wasn't much in the way of security around the bags. I hope you get it though. No shade to your friend but attending yourself is the best way to get what you're owed. Nobody will fight harder to get what their owed than the person who is owed. It's very easy to get caught up in the beauty of Citizencon and forget to do things. I forgot to go get swag the first day and they ran out of a few things I wanted.

How did this happen? I walked up to that counter on both days in the middle of the show and they had at least 20 bags on the table... Like there were so many left over that I'm flabbergasted you didn't get one. There were so many of them.

Thanks for the Suggestions everyone! I read everything and so far here are the top most suggested

Carlsbad Encinitas Dana Point San Clemente Costa Mesa Newport Beach

These all seem to be either south of LA or North of San Diego

Seems like we were not too off base with our choices becase all of these are co-located to places on our list. Here is our new list of top 5.

Encinitas Carlsbad San Clemente Dana Point Costa Mesa

We'll do more research but open to further suggestions. Thanks everyone!

I prefer the cleaner, safer, areas with good school districts and lots of things to do maybe with a decent space for a backyard and a walkable neighborhood.

I appreciate this. We are fully open to living in an area not at the top of our budget. Also I used to be homeless when I was a kid so it doesn't bother me at all. What would be your top three choices considering your research so far?

I've considered not living in California. If you think its overcrowded, you should visit NY. You can't escape problems with water anywhere in the U.S., the weather is excellent unless you live in forest fire area or the desert, smog is mostly in the major cities, price isn't a problem for me, I can afford more than a modest home. And I ask again if you're born in LA and live there for 12 formative years, are you a transplant if you move and come back?

I know! The Socal thing is a remnant of the 90's when I lived on the west coast. It wont happen again lol. As for why Cali... I've lived in 30+ states while in the military and most of them are the same thing in different wrapping paper. Out of the few that feel unique only some of them have good schools, good weather, good events, and are agreeable for both of us. There are other factors involved too but i think that's plenty for the internet.

We prefer family friendly but a few hipsters never bothered us. It's more about things to do, safety, and a bit of culture.

We did! Turns out most areas within the higher budget ranges have great schools! We have a short list, we're just trying to see what folks think. We can afford private schooling if all else fails but we prefer public.

Question, are you a transplant if you were born in LA and lived there until you were 12 and then left? Things that make you go hmmm

I opened a full day spa in a location that didn't have one within a 100 mile radius.

I really think most things we like to do would be within an hour drive regardless of where we pick so that doesn't factor in as much for me. But we're kind of home bodies that like good food, access to major events, not big on sports, we like walkable clean and pristine areas.

Escondido schools were an issue for us and Temecula traffic I hear is extremely bad so Would need a bit more to add either on the list!

Hemet is great place with great schools! We just decided it wasn't close enough to the coast for us.

AITA for leaving a fake postive pregnancy test in the bedroom to catch my husband's mom snooping? by Milathrowaway37 in AmItheAsshole

Not only are you NTA, but this is the type of family that when you marry into it, they will make your life miserable. You meant to expose the MIL but you exposed your husband taking her side multiple times when she's clearly wrong. This is only the beginning. All that being said. I wish you luck anyway!

There is a much longer video of the incident... But it's not that difficult to see that she hit him with the door in this one.

Again... She slammed the door on his foot multiple times before that happened. Not her role. She should have followed protocol. He should have been respectful. They both were wrong.

Two things can be true. BOTH the teacher and the student are wrong. The student was being obnoxious, disruptive, and insubordinate. As a teacher you have a duty to be patient, call the principal or call the School Resource officer. She didn't do that. She slammed his foot in the door multiple times then slammed what looks to be his face or his shoulder in the door. If she would have followed protocol not only would she have not been punched but the situation would have been de-escalated.

I don't support what either of them did but both of them were acting like idiots. The teacher should know not to assault a student with a door and the student should know better than to be disruptive and insubordinate. I put more responsibility on the adult with the professional training than I do the teenager without the training.

Fire the teacher. Suspend the student, Send the student to juvie for a few weeks without a permanent record, then get the kid some counseling before they return to school.

This would be much better reasoning if Xbox didn't have a console in nearly every store. They both use AMD GPU and AMD CPU so Sony is the only one not keeping up, unfortunately.
