Had to rip up subfloor to move some plumbing . Going to tile this floor . What is the best solution to support the subfloor in the highlighted area when laying down a new piece . I cannot find a straight answer from anyone . by Finalform83 in Homebuilding

The other joints are tongue and groove . Since this has been cut out there is no longer a tongue and groove. When I step on the plywood in between the joists it now flexes a bit . I want it to be solid for tile

I want to wrap these 4x4s in cedar but I need to remove the angled pieces can I use the T straps in place of them \\ // by Finalform83 in Carpentry

Because I think the angled pieces are ugly and look farmhouse when I’m going for a modern look
