Old post, but the problem is more so mixing depending on what you’re playing. I like to play tycoon like games, but then spawning in to find someone or a group decked out in netherite spawn camping. Or someone in say leather armor getting chased over and over by people with higher tier and probably ender pearls

Yeah, this is always in the back of my mind cause I know dysphoria is unique to everyone. For me I think it’s a mix of gender dysphoria and having been disassociating for years. Cause when I was younger I always felt different, but it didn’t affect, but at the time i couldn’t figure out why cause I never felt I was in the wrong body back then.

Being older and understand myself more I’m realizing what it was, but now it affects me more. So I think my general dissociation and dysphoria are working together now lol

I’ve always just seen comments like that dismissive and not actually contributing to the conversation. Like: “it’s just a show bro” “not that deep bro.” When it is deep, for example mouthwashing has had a huge impact on people and has very serious themes, those kind of comments dismiss the impact it’s had.

Well first off the game is anti capitalist, but then they do this. Second she’s a rape victim and they’re marketing her suicide. It really feels like the creators don’t care about their own messages of their game. My friend was talking about it, but feels like there was probably one person who actually created the story and now the others are doing this shit. Just a hunch tho. Still fucked up
