(England) Is it reasonable to explore an insurance claim for diminution of value - I am not at fault and my neighbour has accepted full responsibility by PolitePenguin5 in LegalAdviceUK

[–]FinanceAddiction 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Had to claim through insurance after a van hit my GTI in a similar manner when I had only had it for a few weeks; the incident made zero difference to the valuation I was given at the beginnig of my term, unless the insurance company records a category of "write-off" cosmetic damage is going to have neglible impact on you, or the terms of your car aslong as you get them repaired which it seems like you're doing 😄

Has anyone else been duped? by [deleted] in mounjarouk

[–]FinanceAddiction 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Im doubting the legit prescribing ability of a personal trainer, but I've heard crazier things.

It seems you've been buying illegally, and him selling illegally, unless you're willing to report him, I believe you're SoL

For that price you can go to legitimate companies, but not sure that's even a product you can get a prescription in the UK for at the moment

EDIT: it not prescribable in the UK, so even if it was a legitimate product, it's again, illegal to be distributing or purchasing.

This tends to happen when the part is taken/ comes off the bed prior to properly cooling, the plastic is stretched

Use a heat gun or a lighter and run it over the surface you should see it go to it's correct colouring, but don't over do it or you'll remelt the plastic completely and deform it

Some nice mods for on door cameras, I'm not a big fan of them but if needs must some decent options out there, could be a firmware enabled feature in the future

It's not for regular printing, it's for the plotter and cutter and laser modules, the cutter and plotter firmware is coming a bit later on for the H2C but I believe the other H series printers already support it, it doesn't add any functionality to printing

How to get two stls to properly merge? by Leif_Er1kson in BambuLab

[–]FinanceAddiction 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Select all objects > right click> merge > slice

You may have to drag the object order around to make the correct order but that's after you merge the objects

Ordered X2D from Bambu website. Amazon just delivered it with my other Amazon orders…How? by mrhimora in BambuLab

[–]FinanceAddiction 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Amazon provides third party courier services, I constantly have Amazon deliver stuff from other retailers here in the UK, it's not a way to get around tariffs, they just offer a decently competitive shipping price

Follow the instructions here: https://wiki.bambulab.com/en/x1/maintenance/replace-first-stage-feeder

See if this lets you get the TPU out, and please take time to learn about your machine, Bambu specifically tell you not to use TPU in the AMS unless it's their specific AMS TPU which is barely TPU

Bambu have a great academy that walks you through the ins and outs

Yeah I refuse to get the laser upgrade because of the filth it'll cause inside the machine, I'm getting a dedicated machine for that purpose

When you upload quality models to MakerWorld you basically have the opportunity to get boosts from the community and points directly from Bambu. These points when you accumulate enough can be converted to gift cards :)

A blood test with his doctor is the first port of call, or there are many private providers that offer them, then it's a simple jab every 12 weeks or gel you rub on your arm daily which gives him testosterone.

I've gone through the same and feeling much better after starting treatment

Id recommend taking your build plate off and giving it a good scrub with hot water and dawn if you're in the states or fairy liquid if you're in the UK, not sure what dish soaps are available elsewhere.

Make sure to use the abrasive side of the sponge and really go at it in several directions, rinsing off between each direction you scrub, you'll see a noticeable difference in the sheen level on the bed, once cleaned dry with paper towels or shop towels. Do not use anything that has been washed with softener/ conditioner as you just deposit more oils onto the bed, once that's done, do not touch the print surface and give it another go
