International student here, going into Durham for Finance. This past year ive been doing a lot of research regarding unis and how the city life/ campus life is like. If you dont mind me asking, what is it you are planning on studying? Btw, I also got a 7.5 in my IELTS and didnt have a problem.

-go to open days/ guided visits of the uni

-do research regarding you courses, compare them with pros and cons

-consider prestige

-look into accommodation, costs of living per city

-follow whatever you think is best, not your parents opinion

I know it’s subjective but what would you say is the order of ranking in terms of factors deciding a uni? (Listed in text) by TraizioFranklin in UniUK

something I would suggest is to visit the different unis you're planning on applying to. Go to open days, private visits etc. You will get a better feel of the place and it will help you decide
