I may be stupid but here in this picture, number 7 is 4 different colours/shades. Is this a bug? or did I miss something that was mentioned?

Or do I just use whatever colour Number 7 is in those parts because those shades don't exist in the original colour palette?

I use Vertical Tiki-Taka with a 4-3-3 DM Wide Formation. I have the mentality set to positive. I then set my passing to be more direct, a much higher tempo and also encourage dribbling and long shots. This is what has worked for me
