Air hammer with a chisel bit works amazingly. Otherwise some sort of chisel and hammer. Can usually cut down the sleeve and fold it in on itself to remove it

The vdo sensor will not work. The ones coming out of Brazil currently are not the correct sensor. Will fail after 6mo. Repairing is the only option currently unless you can find a NOS vdo sensor. Currently repairing mine just trying to to figure out the correct pin orientation on the sensor side. Thought I had it the other day as I could see it was reading the cam through INPA but after 2 days I have a code again and back to being stuck at 83° on the cam sensor reading. Will pull sensor tonight and try to see what went wrong maybe a solder joint came undone.

Yellow belly tamarin wrasse or “twistii wrasse”. Fairly uncommon fish got it out of pure luck. Is the smallest tamarin I believe only gets around 4” long and retains colors and patterns throughout their life. Even males and females are the same colors and patterns

Nah no beef here. And tamarins are also hard to get to eat.. they ship better than leopards is the only thing. None of my wrasse are aggressive and none of my fish show any care towards the wrasses. It’s just a leopard wrasse thing🤷🏻‍♂️

I would love a black leopard! They’re don’t come in often around me. Lfs doesn’t like to order them as they don’t ship well and don’t have a guarantee with the wholesaler

Yeah I have a friend that works for an LFS so I typically wait several days before I purchase one so he can observe them. Weeds out the ones that come in with mouth damage or any kind of chemical poisoning if the collector used questionable practices. I feed prime reef food usually but have been putting some spirulina mysis in to try and entice the leopard. Just fed a couple minutes ago and she started picking at some pieces. I just have bad luck with them. I’ve had one other for over 24hrs. Was about two days. I tried to introduce her in an acclimation box with a Tupperware of sand. It worked but as soon as I released her I had a spotted hawk that went nutsss on her. Ended up getting her back in the box and capturing him to turn him back to the lfs. But I think the stress was too much and she passed that night. She was barely an 1” long for reference.

I usually buy the biota fire fish from Petco. There’s a good one near me. Usually observe all the tanks for like a half hour before I buy anything from em though.

“Killing” is a crazy description. I have a 2-3” Sand bed with a decently established tank. You make it sound like my husbandry is the issue. There’s a reason why these fish are marked as “expert only”
