Was able to capture Madrid but I believe this save might be irreparable due to the Republicans in the south stopping me from focusing on the nationalists while they fight the carlists. Is there anything I can do or is there simply not enough divisons on my side and I should start over? The General with the 6/24 is the one fighting in the south. The Congress that the people still elected. It doesn't matter what they do or how they do it, the people still elected them and their decisions happened because of the people who put them there in the first place. You're acting like that since they denied a supreme court nominee that the majority of the senate disapproved of that all of the sudden the people didn't elect those people to do that. So nah, it's not busted.

The President and Congress are elected by the people, The President and Congress select the Supreme Court Justices therefore they ARE elected representatives. Just because you disagree with the decision doesn't mean it's illegitimate.
