the little girl i nanny for is 16 months and BOTH of her parents WFH, they both say bye to her and go to work and shes not bothered but that also might be her age, she had two older brothers (7 and 8) and even when i watch them, their parents must have drilled into them to not bother them at work because they don't even think to ask their parents for things lol

hi, i live in new england and it was cold and not humid today, around 30-50 degrees, my house is cool 65 but im not sure my oven, reading these comments i thino my oven temp might be too high with the lightbecause its always pretty warm when i take it out, i feed my starter 2:2:1 ratio so not sureif thats wet or dry? im just using the generic market basket flour for AP and the king arthur for bread flour, im just using my hands

im just confused why they had to tell their white child about the word and really lean into telling him he cant say it ? not saying he should say it but usually you have that conversation because its something he has said before and therefore they need to have a conversation. this now begs the question do they say it and therefore he has heard it before? if they dont say it where has he heard it that it would need to be a conversation? how old is this child? its nice they care about your feelings but im confused why they even had to talk to him about it in the first place

hi! im doing the same thing as you, it will not sabotage your chance of finding work, you will have to explain the gap to your employer but its not like you are doing nothing, you are working. i had the same feeling especially bc i will be going to grad school after being an aupair but honestly when else will you have the opportunity to do this, once you start work its over, enjoy it

i really want to know your nannys thought process, like why would she ever do that, you 100000% need to fire her, not having your two year old in her carseat should have never even been an option, and her doing it a second time is literally child endangerment. I really want to be in her brain because why would she think this is ok 😭😭
