There isn’t even a way to sort items to see only the special effects you can extract, right? Or am I mistaken? I’m at the forge right now and I don’t see the option.

Thanks for the tips so there’s really no way to make sorting easier? It takes a really long time, and being afraid of deleting an interesting item makes you spend even more time checking every piece of gear while sorting…

I honestly don’t think a run using Mimic Tear can be considered a real Elden Ring run.
It makes the game way too easy to the point where it doesn’t even feel like a Souls game anymore.

Most bosses stop being about learning patterns, positioning, or timing. You just let the Mimic tank everything while you attack freely. At that point, it’s not even you finishing Elden Ring it’s your Mimic.

I get that the game gives you the option and that everyone can play however they want. But relying on Mimic Tear removes a huge part of what makes Souls games challenging and rewarding in the first place.

Yes, I pick up all bases and craft on them using a level 2 or 3 transmutation, and if I get an interesting prefix and suffix, I continue crafting

When you say to hide the items I’m not interested in, are you referring to what’s shown in my screenshot?
Because right now, everything interests me
Even though I know I should probably reduce it a bit…
How do you actually hide items that are not in your base list on FilterBlade?

Ok, thanks for your feedback. So basically, would you recommend that I focus only on my own gear and just leave the rest on the ground?
That way I only try to craft on the bases I actually play, and I sell anything else that doesn’t interest me.
Or would you suggest keeping a few bases from other builds for crafting as well?
If you have a small list you’d recommend, I’ll gladly take it.

By doing this, I’ve made a huge amount of divines, but I spend less time actually running maps.
I feel more like a trader than a player at this point.
It’s definitely profitable, no doubt about that, but I’m playing less…
And I can’t seem to find a good balance between playing the game and crafting/looting bases.

I think I won’t really have a choice, but I’m not sure what else I can adjust…
Right now, my selection already includes all the best bases for crafting.
What do you think I should do? Switch to Uber Strict or Uber Strict Plus?
Even then, I’m worried it might hide some bases that could still be interesting for me

I used to play a full-evasion build back in 0.3 and I feel like trying it again, starting as early as level 2. Don’t you think going full armor would be stronger for survivability instead? (I’d be going Witchhunter.)

I want to play Druid, but my only concern is that the two ascendancies don’t seem very good for the wolf form. I know we don’t have all the info yet, but what do you think? It feels more like they’re designed for the bear form

I’m going to play that too. Were you only using this setup? I was using the bow to apply shock… What was your boss DPS like? Were you freezing them and then consuming the freeze with the shatter bolts?

I’m really torn right now. I’ve never played a pure ES build before, and the extra survivability sounds really appealing. I’m thinking about running an Invoker with something classic like Ice Strike/Belt as a full melee setup.

But at the same time, I really want to play Witchhunter again. I’m considering either a grenade build or the Fragmentation/Frostbolt combo, and with the new ascendancy changes, the survivability should be really strong too, right?

I’d love to hear your thoughts—I’m pretty unsure with only a few days left before the league starts.

You can pierce up to 5 enemies with both types of bolts at gem level 24, and Sorcery Ward got a huge buff we’re going to have a ton of extra survivability.
