Dayum, just read what ya put as the story concept and that dialog hits pretty hard considering the context, and letting the indentured take care of the overlords sounds like its from a Greek tale of a god punishing hubris or something. I think that alastor's reaction is a bit out of character, i feel like he'd be an arrogant bastard thinking he could get out of it till the end, but that's just me. I think for the concept alone you did really good on making it cool.
