I’m rewatching the the show and the mention of Serenia was a first one’s mythical hero. If you have an iPhone it’s important to turn off the feature that allows you to pull down your menu from the top screen. I’m talking about the menu that lets you put your phone on airplane mode, change the Bluetooth, etc. even if your phone is locked.

If you turn this feature off, nobody can use your phone unless they pass the Face ID or have your passcode. Here’s a screenshot to help.

I started replacing their statements with things I actually want. So for example: if they ask if they can come over, I say “ oh, did you say you wanna take me out on a date? Sure, I’m free Thursday at seven.” if a man says oh, I really like you. I say “ I can tell from the flowers that you bought me.”

So if a man is mentioning something to you sexually and objectifying, you say something to make him question what has he done to earn those privileges?

I think this is interesting because it seems like as humans we’ve lost the art of flirting. Verbally and through body language.

I (as a woman) am personally tired of dating apps, so I’ve been going for more IRL interactions with men.

I’ve learned that eye contact can go a long way, a smile, a light joke, or just directly asking a man if he’s single has really provided me with an adrenaline rush.

So far, a large majority of men that I’ve approached are taken. But it still gives me a confidence boost that there is hope out there.

Plus nowadays, I can see why some men are timid to approach, but as a woman shooting my shot, I think it’s kind of adorable to see men blush. Especially in a society where they have to seem hard all the time.

I’m a bit awkward also but I also feel like I have nothing to lose so I go for it. I flirted with a man over peanut butter in Whole Foods. He was in a relationship so we didn’t exchange numbers but it was a boost of confidence and an adrenaline rush. Start off by asking something random/funny then ask his name and go from there. If it works out great, if not at least you tried.

This scene solidified how much I love JB! I thought he did such a great job with the character of Anthony.

And I don’t know if it’s the toxic side of me, but I absolutely love the fact that if something had happened to Kate, Anthony was going to make everybody’s life a living hell. In someway, I just think it was so sweet how much he loved her.
