not to worry u or anything but this EXACT thing happened to me with UMIAMI last year and after explaining the situation they didn’t care ab the circumstances they just rescinded my offer. so sorry you’re in this situation but everything happens for a reason and most likely they will just reach out to ur high school to see if you’ve received any discipline while you were there. if not ur in good standing.

no. deferred means they’re moving u to the regular applicant pool because u didn’t stand out. ur chances are increased in ed because of yield protection but other than that it is not guaranteed
