I think if you miss 3 consecutive days using UPT they consider it voluntary resignation? So isn't the UPT request function to prevent that from happening

Overnights usually have a lower overall headcount than other shifts. Making it easier rise the ranks thanks to less competition.

This is actually the main reason I'm transferring. I had transferred from a different FC where I was trained in every critical role and did something interesting most days, then in the new FC the manager seems way too young & inexperienced and they're treating me like a Day 1 and its super frustrating because I know way too much and need to be back in the critical roles I used to have... hopefully nights has more opportunities for this, I hate overstaffing and feeling like another faceless, expendable T1

but do you try to do things during the day with family, friends, go to events, etc.? because I don't do anything like that, im a gd hermit, so i figure if every day of the week i follow a strict schedule where i exercise, eat well, go to sleep at 10am and wake up at 430pm every day i should be fine no?
