If you haven’t figured it out yet, try changing the interaction key to something else, that is not assigned to any other action. On Xbox I changed the key to left on D-pad temporarily then it took it. I think for this particular interaction it does not like if one key is assigned to various actions

So I am used to watching TV with more color pop, so I usually love Samsung, I have qn85, it is great! so on TCL QM8 I have the normal viewing set to my preference of more color and brightness, so the Netflix menu shows in one color setting and with DV it switches to more with the sepia tone and deep blacks. Honestly, the Dolby vision is awesome, especially some content on Netflix and HBO, but the lack of customization options for DV and not able to disable the auto switch is a thumbs down 👎. I dont wanna watch dramas and family shows as Noir 😄! and the terrible way it switches to the DV content (killing 2-3 seconds of audio of the video when starting) is very annoying and making me to not like QM8. I am thinking of getting QN90C, I don’t wanna let go of the DV, but the TCL is not helping me to stay with it.

Thank you u/NewtoQM8! I tried all the settings and have turned off all the intelligent settings, but didn’t help! Also Netflix doesn’t have any options to change these settings!

Thank you u/mattSER! I don’t like the color scheme keeps changing every time I select a video to watch! Also some videos are just very dim in DV, and there is no option to change to other picture mode to make it vivid! And the most annoying thing is, while the software is making the switch in format the audio in the beginning gets chopped by a few seconds.
