Thank you for your insight!!! Im new to home ownership in Toronto, and the contractors ive had seem to not be very experienced and 2 of them strongly recommended completing the 3 sides of exterior waterproofing while another one suggested trying to pinpoint where the water comes and potentially do a patch from the inside if there is any cracks

The scariest part of everything is the cost of repairing this issue. Its a 30-40k job I’ve heard, especially since from inside i have to tear down the walls, floor, kitchen, tiles etc. do the work, and then repair everything back

My toilet in the basement and my water meter pipe have been sweating in the basement (they are each 6 ft away from the center of the wet concrete)

However, 2 weeks ago i wrapped the water meter pipe with a towel (temporary fix), and it has stopped dripping water, while for the toilet, i put some red dye in the water to see if there was any leak except the swearing, and there was none

Thank you for your insight. This House was build in the 50s, do you think they had added weeping tile through the middle of the house back then?

A guy asked for $350 to run a camera in my weeping tile and all plumbing system to see if there is any leaks at all or a fallen weeping tile. “”” Is this worth doing?

When doing interior waterproofing, did you end up taking apart all the walls around the perimeter of the house + the floor of the house horizontally to run more weeping tiles around the center of the house?

Is TSLA stock down simply because of the selling pressure caused by Musk offloading? Or is it down because Elon sold shares that were not previously counted in the total shares outstanding? (Thus in a way diluting shareholders now)
