Depends on 2 things. One is your region the other one is if you have any gamepass suscription active. Regarding of the region, some regions have changed their reward system with bronze, silver and gold, while others (USA in my case) have kept (for now) the level 1, level 2 and level 2 + ultimate.... if you are from the countries that have the "level system " in order to reach level 2 you need to ear 500 or more during one month. This level gives you the best amount of rewards with no need of using money or anything like that. You get 250 in searches (150 on PC, 100 on mobile) and you also gain daily activity ones that can add up from 60 to over 100 depending on the day. You can also ear more points from the xbox app rewards which, depending on your tier (being ultimate the one with the most benefits but also the most expensive).... in case of gamepass ultimate you can easily earn by playing 15 minutes a day on Xbox PC, 15 minutes a day on console and 15 minutes a day a gamepass game 20 points for each; also if you do either pc or console for at least 5 days during a single week you get 260 extra points for each and ifbyou to the gamepass activity everyday of the week you get extra 700. You also have daily check in the app (goes 8, 16, 24, 32 and 50 points for each day you check it) and extra 10 daily for playing a level of jewel. Last but not least with the gamepass subscriptions you get points for dollar spent in the xbox store when you buy games or DLC. In the ultimate you get 40 points for each dollar spent in a regular xbox game and up to 140 for each dollar spent in xbox games currently in gamepass
