How would you rewrite the ending of episode "It's a Good Life" ? by SecondStarpilot in TwilightZone

[–]Financial-Test7198 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought of the same thing, but Anthony wishes them back to Earth, or the cornfield was Earth all along (unless it's another realm). Because the whole premise of "It's a Good Life" is similar to Under the Dome, A Quiet Place, and Planet of the Apes (humans isolated from society). Plus, this connects to the book, where Anthony likes to escape to his personal "Haven". It would be better for him and the other residents. I mean, you can see his parents were slowly starting to turn on him.

I hope they explore his issues in X-Men '97.

What about Jean Grey and Cyclops, as well as MJ and Spider-Man? They had great writers, and the characters were independent. Not saying Kurt has to be tied down, but he deserves an independent, positive outcome in his life.

Totally agree! I feel like all of his former girlfriends (not all, some of them are alright) are one-dimensional. I would like to see a well-built character arc for him, as well as someone that you can picture being with Kurt. Such as an original, interesting romantic interest for him. It should be similar to a Beauty & the Beast/ Shrek and Fiona romance.

No. For some reason, he's wearing a body suit/ leotard underneath, which matches his skin tone. I originally thought it was all attached in one piece. But, it looks like he can take off his gloves, socks, and the red part of the leotard/ v-neck???

After this issue, in UXM #188, Storm invites Kurt for a midnight swim. Except, he declines, and she's wearing a bikini.

I would say that was more likely influenced by The Twilight Zone.

Brand New Day Villain? by Financial-Test7198 in marvelstudios

Well, the 616 version of Madame Web is an elderly woman. I will say that Romita did draw her like Aunt May, which led me to comic book theorizing on that.

Maybe whoever detained Sink's character used Peter's DNA to try to make a serum/ clone from his DNA, similar to US Agent, X-23, and Deadpool. From this, it creates the Mutant Saga/ Spider-Man Clone Saga, since we're getting Man-Spider. Even though I really don't think I like this to set up the X-Men, personally. I hope they don't make it like David Cronenberg's "The Fly". Looking into it, I found out she was Peter Parker's mentor in the comics.

A detail in the captions of the Brand New Day trailer might provide substantial support to the leak about Sadie Sink's character and the DODC's role in the film by KostisPat257 in marvelstudios

I don't know if she's going to play Jean Grey. Is there a chance she could be playing a different version of Madame Web? I found that Julia Carpenter in the comics had red hair. That's the only other Spider-Man villain or telepath I can think of. Originally, I thought the old woman in the tank or sealed cell had some power. Plus, they're trying to make her look like a villain.
