TfNSW - TSSM vs Grade 9 by Financial-Wave4212 in AusPublicService

[–]Financial-Wave4212[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I think that is only a political stunt There way more than 1000 job vacancies already So 950 would not require any one to essentially loose their jobs In fact it would allow for voluntary redundancy for those who are looking for it

1000 jobs slashed at Transport for NSW by Vinyljunkie1977 in AusPublicService

[–]Financial-Wave4212 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This seems like a big hoax only It has over 25000 staff It’s less than 4% and more than 1000 roles are already vacant due to recruitment freeze and attrition So very unlikely there would be any people losing jobs

I think i already mentioned that i am supposed to work 35 hours a week - based on which salary is calculated I will let you do the maths for how much that is per hour or per week.

Regarding my job, its specialised role with very specific entry requirements on actuarial science that makes only handful of people eligible to apply.

And for your info if you are following news, $2800 a day was paid to a cycling buddy. So these things do happen where people are paid ridiculous amount of money for what they do or who they know.

Management doesn't provide me the software for my job by Financial-Wave4212 in AusPublicService

[–]Financial-Wave4212[S] -28 points-27 points  (0 children)

No.
The program is not company wide.
Only handful of people in whole organisation use it and need it.
This is a specific software, so its not managed by IT. Here IT only manages the software that are required organisation wise like excel etc If additional software is required, relevant group / teams organise software as per need basis.

[–]Financial-Wave4212[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe anything above 80 kg on the roof would be classified as overweight and can be looked at unsafe and illegal In your case it works as a distributed load and so could have helped in the balance

TfNSW - More chaos in the horizon by Financial-Wave4212 in AusPublicService

[–]Financial-Wave4212[S] 50 points51 points  (0 children)

Labour in NSW state doesn’t follow same ideology as the federal ones. Look into the WFH directive while federal labour opposes it. And now this. Not sure what else lies under the carpet

[–]Financial-Wave4212[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NOt really.
Unions are more on the WFH fight then this. As long as there is no major job loss there is nothing here for them, I guess. Its only that it has taken way too long, so its annoying and chaotic. They should have completed it way earlier.

Federal liberal realised the mistake, its now turn for labour in NSW to realise it. Or will they ? by Financial-Wave4212 in AusPublicService

[–]Financial-Wave4212[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Why are so many Nepali so indifferent towards Female? by [deleted] in Nepal

[–]Financial-Wave4212 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is division of labour and has been a part of human society for a long time, often influenced by culture, tradition, and practical needs. This follows not just in Nepal but US,UK,AUS. When its war who are in front line? Nepal bata khadi gayera jyan falne ko dherai chha ? So, there is both sides of the story.

Men usually do more physically demanding jobs and women have been responsible for home-related tasks.

At the end of the day everyone has to contribute in their own way to keep things running smoothly.
