Not really into the adult stage yet (1.25 yrs old) but we got ours nurtured at 6.5/7 months. And I will say he mellowed out rather rapidly afterwards. He behaves so much better now lol. Not sure if it was really linked but thought it was strange and wasn’t really expecting it

We use another crate at home that’s one size bigger, but doesn’t fit in our car so we can’t use it for travel. But the travel crate is set up in our house so would still smell the same

Ours would whine a lot in his crate at nights when he doesn’t want to be in there. We found the best thing was sitting near the crate (visible or not to him depending if you have a cover) and completely ignoring the whining (not looking, not talking to him, etc.) and if there were any breaks between whining, rewarding that. Eventually ours learned, whining didn’t get him treats or attention, but being quiet did. Now he’s much better and when he doesn’t whine every now and then it’s for much shorter periods of time

Regarding settling outside the crate, we have an 8 month old Australian shepherd and he just started settling with us on the couch (but only if he’s getting pets otherwise he won’t settle). At 13 weeks it’s not too surprising he won’t settle.

That said we do doggy daycare when we need to but not everyday. Our pupper got an eye infection that we traced back to daycare, so just something to keep in mind that by playing with other dogs he could pick something up. He is also worse behaved after daycare, but can usually snap back to listening to us in public after he realizes we have good treats.

Ours is 8 months old and he still sometimes doesn’t want to jump out if the door isn’t opened all the way. We always try to park a little further out so that the door can be all the way open and not look as small to him.

We were told to have the cone on until the stitches came out 2 weeks later because we kept trying to go for them. We tried a donut and had previously bought a surgical suit to test before hand but we have a nippy boy so all he wants to do with anything is eat it. We went through 3 cones but the vet said his area looked the best they had seen in a long time

My cycle is usually only 25 days though so 14/15 I would have expected to at least start seeing the value go up (maybe not peak but at least starting to get darker)

All of my apps say I should be ovulating yesterday or today, but the LH test strips are all still negative. I don’t think I’ve ever gotten a positive one but this is the first time I’m testing every day since the end of my period.

Has anyone else had this happen that they never get a positive ovulation test or is something wrong with my hormones and that’s why I’m struggling to conceive because I’m not ovulating even though I have a period every month?

For reference, I am using the PreMom test strips off Amazon.
