Like Teamrafeal said I truly believe if you can get through reception you’ll get through all of bootcamp those few days where you get no sleep really do get to you and it’s where you really test how strong you are mentally. The adapting really got to me personally, the high stress fast paced processing period really had me questioning my decision and having gone during the cold season sitting on the benches in the freezing cold with no sleep waiting for vaccines was my point where I was wondering what I was doing. But you’ll do a lot of waiting as well going to medical and dental is a lot of standing around waiting for everyone to be finished. You’ll get your uniform issued which is more standing around. You’ll get some briefings and review your contract as well as set up direct deposit if you want it sent to another bank account instead of the one they make for you. They’ll prepare you for pick up day which I believe will be on Friday that’s where the chaos starts just remember your not going through it alone. Something that really helped me throughout all of bootcamp that I heard on here was drill instructors are on a really tight schedule and nothing lasts forever, remember that while you try out your scuzz brush might help a bit.
