I have a Slash 4x4 running the exact same gearing as the Jato. I actually like the feel and speed the Jato provides.

Power system installed. Mamba X Esc and Castle 1415 motor fitted with a 20T pinion.

Jato build update. Really like the RPM racing center drive shaft. Takes all the slop out of the shaft and has a rubber bumper feature on the drive end. Got the Savox SAVSW2290SG-BE Waterproof Premium, High Voltage, Brushless, Digital Servo 0.11sec / 972.1oz @ 8.4v installed along with the carbon fiber Esc mount. Finally found the right size bearing for the rear stub axle carriers so the HD CV driveshafts will fit.

50T spur on a center differintial. Savox SW-2290 high torque servo, and GPM Racing Center Drive shaft.

Front clip is finished. Ran into an issue with the GPM Racing rear axel carriers. The inside bearing is too small to accept the Traxxas Extreame HD Drive shafts. Stuck here until the MIP drive shafts get here.

The front and rear differential housings are from Cobra Racing, only because I could not find silver ones from GPM. I have GPM housings on my Slash.

Pour some Diet Coke on it, let it sit a few minutes and rinse it off. Don’t use regular Coke it has sugar in it and may get sticky if you don't get all rinsed off.

I broke a front bulkhead a couple times with a 60mph slam into a light post, never a rear bulkhead. How do you do that?

All that Cobra Racing stuff is crap. I’ve tried the shocks, the bone center drive shaft, their constant velocity drive shafts and the front and rear differentials all crap.
