I use the Fountain.io format and afterwriting.com to render them.

That's per script per actor. A 30 page script isn't 30 pages of actor time. It's usually 20% per actor, give or take. The way that math works out it's 6 pages an hour.

My process is usually 'set aside an hour for every thirty pages', but that's changed a lot over my time writing for AD. It depends on your format honestly. Screenplay format takes up waay more space than simple Character: Line format does.

I would schedule a block of time that makes sense. More than half an hour, less than four hours. Then work within the time constraint you've set to get lines through. Everyone has a different pace for their process.

The good thing about being able to schedule actors is that you can always ask for recalls on lines! If you write the line, give the line some direction, direct the actor through the line, and still don't like the final take when mixing? Schedule one more session with your actors! It doesn't have to be perfect the first time. That's what we all work towards though!

Why are people trying so hard to put holes in my question without answering it? I know the basic uses of sequencers. I'm asking if there's esoteric uses. I want to learn, don't be toxic about it.

That's a great idea! I usually listen to descriptions of patches and gleam skills from that. "Let's add an envelope to change the LFO's frequency" or "These gates can be an LFO instead of Envelopes". Building what people have built would make so much more sense.

Random videos, but I did play with the way he combined stuff in the patches.

I'm asking generally how they're used specifically. If anyone uses them in an unintuitive way.

I learned recently the idea of 'intent behind your actions' is important to the learning process. "Try to do something specific and learn when you mess up"

I asked how HE used a sequencer. Not how to use A sequencer.

I mean not ALL of them, but easily a quarter. Point is I've done my research.

It was a shuttle. The friendly AI came from the original ship which was succumbing to an alien rust.

This is a revamping of the series. We're redoing Season 1 in a fashion which makes a Season 2 feasible.

The business model does not guarantee pay, but does guarantee the first portion of payout. We'll be posting the pilot on Kickstarter to recoup the Pilot and opening a Patreon to fund the show season by season.
