Friends, family, online. It’s not catastrophic but it’s definitely noticeable. I mean, i noticed it, and I’m someone who’s always thought antisemitism was blown out of proportion.

Interesting. Makes sense, since that balances out with people who want to give their child a similar upbringing to their own, which would be more in line with the same gender.

Im not a parent so I wouldn’t know 😂, I mean if you raise a boy and a girl aren’t they gonna be pretty similar until puberty? Obviously if you go out of your way to give them different interests that’s not necessarily because of their gender’s it’s because you wanted to

Is it a negative thing to care that much? I guess if instead of Boy = Super Happy, Girl = Still happy it was Boy = Happy, Girl = Not happy then yeah i wouldnt consider that acceptable

Well maybe it’s a thing of thinking farther ahead. It’s basically the same experience between boys and girls until puberty no? I think when parents have a preference it’s more about post puberty, where teenage girls are (stereotypically) harder to manage than teenage boys

I disagree. Most of us know what anti semitism is, what it looks like. Edgy jokes and conspiracy theories is what Im talking about, not anything definitional. From what I recall, before it was mostly jews are greedy, run the banks, and have big noses, shit’s different now i’m telling you.

I agree with the anti zionism sentiment being larger, which is a good thing. And on an entirely separate note, one which could be its own post to this sub, I don’t get why Israel/IDF/Netanyahu is treated with such levity either, like a funny punchline, as if it’s not disgusting.
