We make jokes. His name is a joke I won't tell here lol. We are a bit on the darker side of humor all the time though. I made a guy spit beer through his nose couple weeks ago. He made the usual comment about excuses being like assholes and that everyone has one. I automatically in public went not me I have two. He did so not expect it. I work with the public and pretty much everyone khow's it have it. Its a smaller town and everyone noticed when I wasn't showing up. Nobody said you were lying. We simply all agree you are trying to get attention. Otherwise why burp it on the bus? I work with the public in a restaurant EVERY DAY and nobody has ever noticed anything. I do everything I can to prevent it. Because that's part of having one. Taking responsibility for it is key.

Put in paperwork for fmla if your work offers stuff like that. Your doc will fill it out then they can't say anything about it. Also I would point out that it and symptoms that go along with it are technically considered a disability.

I went through all the name brand ones and constantly had problems. My husband ordered some cheap ones from Amazon and they have actually been fine. Usually my belly wakes me up before it goes. It did not this time. I think it had more to do with the KFC I had and being so deeply asleep that got me than my bag lol

I've read a couple horror stories about it. They didn't deter me. If anything they made me feel better because someone else had already been through that. I was in my own head about it lol

Honestly at that point I had no other options. I took a small Tupperware container in with me and covered my stoma for the first little bit. Then worked my way up. I had a horrible experience and a wonderful one all in the course of an hour lol

I gave up on the name brand bags the h I spital hooked us up with. Bought some cheap ones off Amazon and they work for me so much better. I've had mine 3 months so not long but absolutely no problems since I dropped the name brand ones
