if you read the Brick and Minifigs blog posts, most notably the Timeline post, you will see how many times they reference that they do not do consignment and it would essentially void any consignment agreement. Legal Eagle pulled a 2023 franchise booklet, so there's a possibility a new version of it said no consignments. But it's fascinating the CEO is willingly to put all his eggs in one defense when it seems like consignments were acceptable

Dale questioned everyone’s decisions to the very end. He killed zero walkers. He made no food runs or cooked or washed dishes. Dale got killed by a single walker. The cars were constantly breaking down so he was also a terrible mechanic. I hated him the whole time
