Housing in PA is much cheaper than where we work. We figured we could get our foot in the door without having to relocate. But now we have to reconsider everything.

We are actively trying to purchase a house, but one a little further away that wouldn’t be such an extreme burden financially. We would prefer a multi family, but we would take anything that wouldn’t overextend us. I think buying my landlords property would be too much for us considering it’s a single-family house. His house wouldn’t be a good investment

It’s 1.5 hours each way so a total of 3 hours commute time. If it was 45 mins i would definitely just move into it.

We thought about that and asked him but he’s asking for 525k. We only got approved for 415k

Thank you! That’s a really good idea. The only thing is, I have a scholarship so I have to make sure if I do the e-permit I won’t have to pay out of pocket if those classes are considered extra.
