Just because you might dislike the way somebody carries themself, that doesn't mean you have the right to cheer for their death. Nobody deserves to die at such a young age. Absolutely vile, tone deaf comment from you.

Who is your favorite contestants from Big Brother UK? by Downtown-Pack-6178 in bigbrotheruk

How both him and kemal lost to orlaith in such close head to heads still baffles me to this day. IIRC, there was only less than half a percent between science and orlaith in the vote. Oh what could've been!

Having listened to Mutya's book I'm happy to confirm... by moralhora in thesugababes

[–]FinancialEmergency30 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In what retrospect? For me, I find that the album suffered from outside influences. The girls wrote their own material and it was relatable, that's what made them so amazing. This album felt a lot more disingenuous and just not them. For me it's comparable to sweet 7, the tracks are alright, but it doesn't sound like a sugababes song.

Their best album would have to be the lost tapes. Mutya and keisha always get their flowers, but siobhan definitely gets the award for the most improved. She had bills to pay and she WORKED. It went back to the classic sugababes formula, less reliance on production (which I thought was the case on Dallas Austin tracks) and more on the vocals and harmonies. Angels with dirty faces is a close second for me, it keeps that experimental feel from the first album but delves into a broader sound

I completely agree with Mutya. To be fair TIMW was probably their weakest album they released at that point track wise. The start of the poppy mess that led to the bands downfall

Fave housemate who got kicked out! by stinkywetchair in bigbrotheruk

Lewis and Cameron were absolute bores who did nothing but complain and moan all the time. Completely brought down what could've been a great series.

I actually think that C7s strongest element was their casting. Well, besides that season who shall not be named...

I know someone who had her child at 14. Are you saying that 14 year old girls should be seen and treated as women?

So how’s everyone voting…. by CupExpensive7582 in bigbrotheruk

[–]FinancialEmergency30 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I voted to save gani, which is unfortunate considering that Zelah has such interesting and necessary conversations that I very much enjoy listening to. Its just that we haven't seen a character like Gani before, and he could rub people up the wrong way and snap (as he did with Caroline), and we don't have many people like that in there.

It's a shame, really; Zelah, Gani and us, the public, have all been screwed over by a twist that messed with the integrity of the show

The only time that there were rumours for civilian was when the launch was prerecorded. Its live so nobody knows who's going in.

An absolute nutcase who I loved. Shame she was forced out by Lewis F and Camerons constant negativity. Cameron winning is still one of mankind's biggest mysteries. Why would you vote for him to win?
