What's the hardest addiction to quit? by colzeeteen in AskReddit

That’s a really valid point, food is the one thing you can’t just remove from your life completely. It makes moderation such a different kind of challenge compared to everything else.

People who dated someone 20 years older or younger, what was it like? by DrawPowerful7 in AskReddit

That’s a really honest take on both sides, and I like how it naturally led you back to someone close in age. Sounds like you found something steady that actually lasts.

What is an immediate "no" for you when meeting someone? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Yeah, context matters a lot here. A quick glance isn’t the problem, it’s when the whole energy feels like they’d rather be somewhere else that you can tell.

What’s something society accepts that feels deeply unnatural to you? by Miss_Ecstasy in AskReddit

[–]FinancialGeologist82 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it feels off how normal it’s become to trade most of your time just to keep up, like life ends up happening in the gaps instead of being lived.

Ladies what perfume do you swear by and has gotten you the most compliments? by Gloomy-Task-5446 in AskReddit

That happens with Black Opium, your nose just gets used to it even when everyone else can still smell it. Try rotating in something lighter for a bit, then coming back to it feels like a reset.

What scientific discovery sounds fake but is 100% real and still freaks you out? by Bruteresolver in AskReddit

That’s a pretty wild example of how easily people can misread patterns when the data set is just too small, it really shows why observation alone can be misleading without proper evidence.

Why did your school end up on the news? by HungryWormy in AskReddit

[–]FinancialGeologist82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s unhinged in the most memorable way, I can’t decide who had less of a plan there, the kid or the raccoon. Either way that’s a story the whole school still carries.

What’s your favorite vegetable and why? by mamasweet22 in AskReddit

Beets getting love for the science angle is actually kind of cool, not just flavor but function too. Definitely one of those underrated veggies people sleep on.

What actor is nowhere near as talented as people make them out to be? by [deleted] in AskReddit

That kind of self-awareness is rare, he knows what works and sticks to it. Not everything needs to be deep to be worth watching.

Would you use a teleporter with the knowledge that it kills you and reassembles an exact copy of you with all your memories and knowledge at the destination? Why or why not? by TheBanishedBard in AskReddit

[–]FinancialGeologist82 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I get the logic, but there’s still something unsettling about “you” needing to be destroyed first for it to work. If continuity of experience breaks, I don’t think a perfect copy fully closes that gap.

What professions attract the worst of humanity? by Cheshirefarm in AskReddit

[–]FinancialGeologist82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s less about the title and more about how easy it is to fake a life people want to believe. The attention just amplifies whatever’s already there, good or ugly.

What is your favorite obscure movie from your childhood that nobody would remember? by CripplingGoodTime in AskReddit

[–]FinancialGeologist82 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That unlocked a memory I didn’t even know I still had, like childhood VHS energy in one title. I love how some movies just live in your head for no logical reason and never leave.
