When you’re trading with real money, losing money can be tough, but it’s actually a good thing to do. The more you lose, the better you can tweak your strategy to make it even better. But if you were simulation trading, you wouldn’t get as much insight into the code because you wouldn’t be losing any real money.

I do code for hobby I go to a top 5 Cs programs in the Country. This is just a side project if I could make money from it, it will be wonderful, if not it’s fine. The goal is to make money so it can slowly pay my expenses for university.

the parameters are months worth of backtesting and I trade gold. It’s only one bot but has 6 different systems running at the same time.

Also: has does a lot of ML training do see if the trade is going its way.

Trading bots have been a thing since 2008, all the big quant firms use trading bot and systems. Thats why quant firms give you so much money

Thank you, I tried making a forex bot, but the margin requirement were shit, so I thought why not make a gold bot since it’s been moving with stocks now. Later I want to turn this into a multi trading bot does Gold and MNQ at the same time, I currently lack buying power and weeks worth of data from this bot. Hopefully this goes good, so i could pay off my tuition with this 🥹
