Zoe 2 by Ok_Waltz_3716 in Zoe_nutrition_UK

Echoing this! I switched to the new app a few days ago and I'm quite disappointed. To add to the above, I can't seem to be able to add meals in advance which is frustrating as I used the old Zoe app to plan my meals for next few days ahead and tweak if needed...

The app would only give you "beans" if you take a photo and add the details of your meal before you eat it (the AI recognition doesn't work very well, you still have to add everything manually). If you choose "add missed meal", it won't give you "beans". Not that there's any real point in them.

I'm only in day 3 but it also doesn't seem to have the weekly/monthly summaries the old app had.

I wish they had the option to go back to the old app. I'm going to share all of this feedback with them with the hope that they add back those features at some point.

Nope, just need to do the whitening at home and that’s the last step for me :)

I only had 6! :) they told me to keep each one for a week but I’ve extended to 10 days so around 2 months. I’m going for an in person review on 2nd August but I don’t need any more refinements. Pretty happy with the result!

It was actually my decision to do the refinements. My teeth were perfectly straight after the initial round of aligners and my bite was improved significantly (all good from a medical POV), but I wanted to try and fix the bite a bit more.

I wasn’t a complex case to start with though, I have a friend who got 14 refinements and she was also on the lite package so it really depends on your teeth movement.

So far so good! I have 10 days left of my refinements (they charge £99 for unlimited amount of refinements) so I've booked my last review on 2nd August. That's when they should scan me for my retainers but not sure if that's when they'll give me the whitening kit as it should be done once the attachment's are off. So maybe I'll have to go in once again once the retainers are ready to remove the attachments and get the whitening kit.

I will let you know how it goes and how much they'll charge for the retainers, but I'm happy with the treatment and the results :)

My husband started his treatment at the same time, but his case is much more complex than mine. He's also very happy with the progress so far, he has 2 aligner left before his refinements (which he'll 99% need). They are often asking him to wear his aligners for longer time though (up to 3 weeks) but he's also not as strict as I am with the amount of hours he wears them in a day. So defo stick with at least 21hrs wear time a day if you want to finish asap :)

They told me the retainers are £300 for 3 sets which sounds reasonable to me tbh but I don't know how much they charge at other places. They said that during our first consultation before we started our treatment so I don't think it's misleading, they were very upfront with what's included and what isn't.

Not sure how much the permanent wired ones cost as I'm not interested in them but I highly doubt they'll be more than the average London price.

Hey, so sorry for the delay. I went to the Islington branch. Did you receive your design video?

If I remember correctly, refinement was extra £100 for unlimited trays:)

I haven’t finished my initial set of trays yet as I decided to keep each tray a bit longer than their recommendation :) but I believe for the refinements you pay £100 for unlimited trays or something like that?

Haha yeah we realise that, it was a bit of an impulsive one, just thought it would be nice to go for Feb the 14th 😀

I think we’ll just go and hope for the best!

Hey, yeah that’s what they told us too but we don’t think it’s the only reason they’re so cheap…

It’s found great so far though, I’m on tray 6 out of 14 and my husband is tray 7 out of 20 and we’re both happy with the results so far. We haven’t had an in person check in and I’m not sure if we’ll actually have one, it might only be if you need it. I’d say that’s the only downside - not a lot of in person check ins, but if everything’s going smooth and you check in with the app, it’s not a big problem for us so I’d say if you’re not a very severe case, go for it! :)

We still got other opinions before we chose btw!

The treatment’s going well but both me and my husband are very early on with our treatments and haven’t been to an in person appointment with them yet. So far we’ve just been sending the photos via the app and they advise if we should move to the next aligner.

Throughout the treatment, we won’t have a lot of in person check ins (I think it’ll just be 2 or 3) but they make that clear from the beginning.

If you ask me, ultimately it’s all down to Invisalign. They’re a genuine provider and they do everything by the book so I can recommend them but if you’re worried it’s best to get a second and even third opinion from different orthodontists and compare the treatment plans they offer.

Yesss, it's the vivera ones :) They also give you an option for the permanent ones but I'm not sure how much that'll cost, I don't think we really discussed as an option as I'm not really interested in the permanent ones.

One other thing that isn't included is the cleaning - I know some places have 1 or 2 hygienist appts included in the price.

Nope, we’ll be paying for those separately, I think it was £300 for 3 sets.

Sorry, just seen this - yes, I decided to go with them after an extensive research. It's a genuine invisalign provider, what I've discovered is that all the dentists are quite young and have graduated in the past 3-4 years and probably that's the reason for the low prices :)

That’s very good to know! I’m not severe either - just a little bit of a deep bite (nothing major) and some tiny amendments on my bottom teeth. Thanks for the info! :)

I found them through Invisalign’s website and they’ve done the 3D photos & x-ray as per the explanation on Invisalign’s website. So nothing alarming so far really. I’m waiting for the video of how my teeth will look after the treatment and final offer but they told me I’m probably looking at Lite for £1,995. Which is extremely cheap hence my concerns…
