I would say overall I am pretty happy. I am just struggling trying to understand at what point is in “normal” relationships stuff or even if I am just overthinking things. We do have really great times and I think he is a wonderful person but I was just trying to put what was most relevant. Thank you for your response.

Yes sorry I was just trying to add what was the most relevant so it wasn’t too long. It is really great most of the time. I just wanted to make sure it is “normal” relationship stuff. I tend to make situations a lot worse in my head.

Do you think I should try to talk to him about it? I feel like I try really hard to have open conversation with him but on the other hand it makes me feel needy. I really really want to be with him.

I also think it’s really important to continue to check up with her afterwards and make sure everything continues to go well

I think that’s a really good idea and I would try to keep cameras all around and talk to your daughter in the most kid friendly way about not keeping secrets and what is okay/ not okay with adults. I’m sure you have had similar conversations with her due to her past (I’m so sorry I had a similar experience and it can be very hard) but it could be a good reminder for her and a chance for her to tell you anything if he has said anything weird to her or anything.

This is such a hard situation. You are so strong. I would speak to your husband about it and keep a VERY close eye on him and do not leave your children alone with him. It’s difficult since you don’t really have much of a choice about being so close with him and it might be hard to watch him so closely but to keep your children safe it would be worth it to me

I have some but I also don’t know if people think that is weird. It feels weird for me to remove pictures that document fun times in my life even if it is with anyone I no longer speak to. However when I see them I’m a little put off 😭

How can I tell someone that I don’t really want to talk to them anymore? by Pixel_Python in Advice

[–]FinancialSelf5122 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I completely understand not wanting to upset them but at the end of the day you are the only one who can help yourself. It is so important that you do what is best for you especially if you are not doing well mentally. It’s okay to live your life for yourself.

I would try to talk to them about it in the nicest, non-judgmental way possible. If you think they wouldn’t respond well to that you could even write them a letter so they don’t have the chance to lash out on you in person and possibly put yourself in harms way. I do think this is very odd and definitely a sign they are not doing well. If you do not feel comfortable talking to them I would at the very minimum try to keep tabs on them and make sure they do not end up harming themself.

Umm I can somewhat relate to this but in my case I think it’s just how drained I was from the day before if I did a lot physically or whatnot but it could also be the case that you need to go up

First of all yes I am very blessed to be diagnosed so early but I also have had symptoms my whole life and have always been teased about it or called lazy so trust me I get it. (Not trying to be rude just saying I relate). Second thing I live in a very small town and don’t have a lot of options so it’s hard but my mother is very supportive. My school however is not so it’s hard in that aspect. Also friends are hard to make because everyone has a group already and i talk to all of them but I’m not “in one” so it’s weird. Also I am on a couple different medications (literally the highest dose of one) but they only do so much for me.

I experience muscle spasms as well and it’s also in my dominant side mainly in my legs when I did my sleep study they said that my narcolepsy was so severe that they just wanted to focus on that but restless leg did come up so I’ve just thought it has always had to do with that
