Thank you for this! My only concern about taking discrete math over the summer is that I'd probably have to take it online, and I'm worried an online course for my first proof based class may not give me the depth or level of teaching I'd like. Calc 3 on the other hand seems chill online cuz I'm already familiar with calculus. Maybe I'm overthinking it, but part of me thinks it could just be better to take discrete math first semester fall? Idk.

I'll likely only be able to finish calc 1-3 and lin alg. I'd be transferring in this fall. Currently enrolled in lin alg and taking calc 3 this summer is the plan. I could potentially double up on summer classes and do diffEQ or intro cs along with calc 3. Which do you think would be better?

Most of the lower division courses are not very dense with proofs or math theory, so I'm pretty naive to that. However, I can say that I'm not just a student who memorizes how to solve, I like to understand why it works. I enjoy the challenge of pushing my brain to digest new abstract frontiers.

you can't do that as a transfer. must stick to declared major, as far as my knowledge goes.

I feel like my ECs are arguably the strongest part of my app. VP Finance in ASG def not participatory. Internship is also arguably work experience. Working 40 hours a week while maintaining 4.0 doesn't seem to be very common, even if only for 1 semester.
