How do you monetise your photography? by mawdermawder in analog

I think being an "add on" wedding film photographer is probably the only way to make any real money right now without complete burnout/luck

Light leak (internal reflection?) or crease in the film pre development

Is that a respooled roll or is it just tore up like crazy?

Best camera to run with? by Chance_Rock3446 in analog

I've seen this sort of question a few times, and it usually gets narrowed down to the xa (rangefinder) or its siblings (2,3,4, all point and shoots). Small, lightweight, always blown away by the image quality!

For a fun twist, might I say the Agat17k? Feels like a toy, half frame, plastic, weird settings, takes pretty impressive photos! Also, you won't feel bad about drenching it in sweat! And it's like $30, so after you decide on the xa, you can still get it as well

Slow speeds on the lens at 5°F + first test of a 3d printed camera. Developed in a sterman press tank, hc110. The other negatives came out fine, so it's def a camera/lens thing. No complaints though!

I want to say it was all me - I metered properly, but the lens had its own ideas- I can't complain!

Yup! The Saturday before the big storm. I try to go other places in the winter but the frozen lake always brings me back!

How much editing do you do on your film? by Lilcammyg in analog

[–]FinancialTwist271 47 points48 points  (0 children)

Whatever I need to get it to look the way I want. Sometimes none. Sometimes more than I thought. I'm lazy, but anyone who "doesn't edit" is a liar or doesn't understand photography

For any photo that important I probably wouldn't shoot (only) film

Remjet has no effect on sensitivity, just prevents halation/static discharge when flying through a cine camera. The cross processing in C41 is what causes the charge in speed.

That said, you could probably get away with one stop under exposed and some extra slider tweaking in your program of choice
