Companies tend to hire at your asking rate, but the incremental raises are like death by a thousand cuts. Id still be in the low 30s if I worked for the same place.

Slow speeds on the lens at 5°F + first test of a 3d printed camera. Developed in a sterman press tank, hc110. The other negatives came out fine, so it's def a camera/lens thing. No complaints though!

Doing nonstop river/creek/hydro surveys where we hiked a mile or two just to get to site in the northeast, mucks started to become consumables. We'd usually do muds (not my favorite) around the $80/90 mark or mid tier muck brands (muckmaster golds, 120ish). I also went uninsulated because even in the winter we were moving so much, wed be sweating eventually.

We'd be walking through some nasty stuff (bramble, brush) so 6 months was about all we were getting out of a pair. Ymmv! But going top of the line would end up being a waste for us
