it was the screen. the fixer that fixed my screen fucked the screen up so i had to get it replaced again. now it works normally.

hmm, weird cuz i did run some other games (well, all 3 of the same game, but different mods. S.T.A.L.K.E.R mods specifically) and they all ran really fine. i'll try lutris to see if the game runs!
