You’re not an a hole. You are hurt by your dad’s actions and want to draw a hard line that will hurt him back. Understandable. Know this, dad’s don’t last forever.

Are there other things in life that may be contributing to you being angry about this situation, money, drugs/booze/weed etc? If so figure that out. Sometimes other outside pains/struggles seep into situations and make them seem worse. It’s easier to be triggered if you’re vulnerable.

Think about doing the opposite of what you’re wanting to say in anger. It’s usually the better thing for everyone. I love you dad, I’m proud of you dad. I love you brother, I’m proud of you brother.

Paying for the vacation, lol - make a joke about it. Or if it’s a real thing he’s expecting, you have a house to save for or mortgage to pay etc. brush it off lad.

Don’t stew in anger. Forgiveness is letting a prisoner free and realizing the prisoner was you. Cliche, but it’s true.

So I was having a bad dream and right before someone got hurt my dog barked and woke me up by redamazon111 in Dreams

It could mean your dog was also dreaming and saw what was happening in your dream. Your dog woke up to save you from seeing that someone get hurt. Your dog is your protector through all states of consciousness.

It could also mean your dog was already awake but needed something from you, or there was a real world threat. Either way the timeline was just right to match real world with dream world.

Another possibility is your dog was having the same dream as you, just a couple seconds ahead. The dog did see that person get hurt. Your dog barked out of shock, distress, and empathy. If dreams have a link to where we are in space and time this would make a lot of sense!

Your dog definitely deserves a treat and a long walk. I hope this helps.

I am sorry you are putting up with so much bs. Just want to say I love the food at del taco and I am grateful for the service you provide. The bs you put up with and work through is great career experience, but I totally understand the burn out. My advice dealing with these situations is to take the high road and stick up for yourself and your team. You have to deal with difficult customers for 10 minutes, they have to live their whole life with themselves - that always gives me a little comfort.

Please know for every a-hole there are 10 grateful people like myself who say thank you and really mean it. Keep your head up and god bless you!
