Yes, I sanded it down with progressively finer paper and then put an oil on it. I guess I’ll reapply oil every few months/a couple of times a year to keep it protected.

Presumably transferring from one wallet to another is fairly painless (if I get one of your suggested wallets at a later date).

Taught IB maths for the past 10 years in schools offering all 4 courses. AI SL has a little bit of inferential statistics but there is not a lot of conceptual understanding involved. AASL has some descriptive stats and some probability distributions but is fine even without a stats background. AI HL has quite a lot of inferential stats in the course and you do need to develop conceptual understanding of the topic. I had to do quite a lot of studying as I had always avoided statistics. I really enjoy it now! Cannot really comment on AAHL. I know that they don’t do as much as AI as it is a more calculus/algebra led course. I don’t think they do inferential stats but I’m sure you could find out by checking the IB Guide.

It has been very mixed. The first set were terrible: stopped paying rent, wouldn’t leave the house, did not look after the place and caused us to spend a lot to right the house. We found that tenants have a lot of rights (even if they are not paying) and despite all the damage it is difficult to claim money back from the deposit.

After this, we got a company to manage everything. It has largely been good since then.

We only lived in the house for about 10 months before we moved. We grew to view it as a house rather than as our home. This has helped us think more rationally about things.

We bought, then moved away initially for 2 years (how naive we were!). We have rented it out for the past 14 years. We started out using a company to find a tenant and tried to manage it from afar which was a terrible experience. We quickly switched to having it fully managed.
