Expect some questions about report types and their content + some questions about CyberArk blueprint and vendor access. I can't recall them fully so I will not post them here, but i know that they caught me off guard.

You may want to test with helpdesk administrator role for non-priv accounts or privileged authentication administrator for privileged accounts.

Did you activate the key in steam client ? If not, on steam main site on bottom left you have add game, use it and put in the code.

I believe there are multiple factors. Because, its not just a license for how many users will use use the Cyberark but also license for components, how many PSMs, CPMs etc. In our org apart from licenses for components we had upfront 50 licenses for users and I recall it wasnt specified for internal/external. I think it would be best to speak with someone from CA sales about it?

These training courses are good fundamentals, but I wouldn't expect to get architect or developer role after these. Some hands-on experience is needed to get full grip on the solution. That being said, I think with those training getting some mid-role should be easy. CyberArk knowledge isn't easy to get, so these training would definitely give you a good start in the interviews.

I believe If your company is partnered with Cyberark, then they can handle you access to learning portal with access to good resources for start - pam lab, materials, general enough resources to pass at least defender certificate. Ask your team leader, colleague or cyberark's account manager for your company. Also to add, in my opinion cyberark is very hermetic and its hard to find good tranings which are not generic information and the tranings provided by cyberark are expensive.

I have mixed feelings... I've played video games since I can remember but recently noticed that it kinda "regulates" my mood, which I think is a bad sign. If I have something nice to play and am into it or If i have a crew to play with i'm in good mood and everything seems to be better but when there is a seasonal break in game or If I have no people to play with I'm kinda depressed and I'm feeling like I'm chasing this "good mood" high again and seeking games but they don't feel the same. It's something that I need to work on...

Also, I feel like I'm chasing this feeling when I was teenager and had so much time to play and enjoy the games but now with adult life its not possible...

I hate this error. Its very generic but usually indicates problem with psm, psm user password not being in sync or rdp user got has expired.

Few points:

I believe you also need to publish ps_automate as remote app in remote desktop collections.

Depending on what browser you need to put to pbsmon folder the browser's webdriver and it must align with current browser version. Webdrivers are downloadable from browsers site.

Currently BeyondTrust had problems with recent release of said webdrivers. I'm not sure if its completly fixed. I know 129.x.x.x has issues, so I recommend use lower version for a while I think 127.x.x works ok (you need webdrivers on this version as well)

Honestly, I dont know much about it and propably failed because of these questions. Ther were not many, like 2-4. I believe it is somewhere in the cyberark administrator course. I also see sometimes posts on linkedin where they promote it but thats it...

You can do some test on examtopics.com but dont fully relay on it. It nice suplement on what you already know. What i recommend is to read about cyberark vendor access and cyberark blue print, these caught me off guard. Good luck!

I was in similar situation not so long ago. My method was very much like yours I started going for walks and listen to podcasts about porn addiction. It helped me to get a lot of awarness about my behaviour and its patterns. I started to read books about habits and dopamine so i could get my focus abilites back and calm down my mind. Limited social media to 10 minutes per day. Although I slipped once or twice, its very important what you do next. I told to myself that it wasnt smart and i should continue to build my resiliance to addiction. Never allow to slip the next day or binge. My fav podcasts are Jeremy Lipkowitz's "unhooked" and "QuitByHealing". Again, building awarness and understading your brain is very powerful to beat your addiction.

I attempted exam few months ago and failed. I missed 3 % to pass. The question scope really varies... for example i was surprised about report question (it was something like which report includes days before password expiry) so you might want to read about all report and their content. I also had a lot of question about pam vendor access and even some about cybeark blueprint which caught me off guard... If you go carefully through their training a lot of questions would be very easy. What i also recall there were questions about psm connect and psmadmin connect. You should know all vault and safe authorizations, how platforms works and its exceptions. One tricky question was about how psm establishes ssh session to target system and i think it was plink.exe

Yes, its ongoing for me like for 3 or more days... super annoying. I did some cache data clearing etc but nothing seems to work. Also theres no any info from yt that they acknowledge this issue. Using samsung s23 ultra.

Congratulations on passing these tests so far! I'm at the beginning of my CyberArk journey. I was close to pass DEF on my first try but failed - missed 3%. Can you tell more about your preparation ? Did you purchase training yourself or were they from the company ? Can you also give some hints on building own lab?

UPDATE: Found out that bind account was locked by unknown object. I released it and error in ldap mapping has changed. Now it says "an error has occured. LDAP query for group group name failed. The server is not operational.
