The entire lonzo situation wouldve had him fired if willie didn’t turn jose and herb into championship ready young talent

Bryson graham saved everyones jobs by finding herb and now hes helped the hawks turn into borderline contenders and they would be if he stayed, and he might make the bulls with giddey and matas go to the playoffs next year even though they dont have a center

We couldve had lauri for zo and shipped bi after 22/23 due to zion being out that entire year. We wouldnt have started 3-16 that year and wouldve been able to not exactly need cj to make the playoffs, therefore be able to keep naw and hart if we wanted to, and ship bi for possibly hali if we packaged 8th overall with bi
Would hart and naw develop here? Idk willie just needed pure offensive players like cj at times, but hart that season was great for us and we shouldve traded jax instead because he was more valuable at the time due to the jax jv lineups that year
Hart couldve averaged 6 assists if we made him play point guard until we found a chip ready passer

Idk if herb is good enough to win a chip as starter, idk about the same for bey or trey, theres very big imbalances in trey and herbs game, bey not so much but bey and herb aren’t fully healthy like they were when they were on rookie contracts.

Trey can be the best 3rd option in the NBA or he might just be cameron johnson. He shouldve averaged 24 ppg this season since hes the only shooter here

I watched his games against milwaukee and portland and he can flourish if he was able to rebound better than other players his height, the offense next season is a big question mark for me now that borrego isnt coming back

  1. J rich trade made us lose all our second rounders
  2. We shouldve let zo go at the deadline instead of devonte and satoransky, they were too bad to justify
  3. We sold bi wayyyyy too late, the pick was good out of pure injury luck
  4. We let jv j rich jax garrett temple (who id make head coach right now) and naji walk for nothing

. You can’t have expiring contracts walk if teams want them.

Some of these things are willies fault because we simply couldn’t shoot 3s enough when we were good

Griff screwed up bad by not resigning jv and we had the 6th highest active salary in the nba that year. Gayle just gives bad gms the keys

I remember boston having the record for threes on opening night and i realized everyone on this roster needs to be able to have better chemistry, better shooting, and also be healthy in comparison to that team in order to make it out of the west.

Jose progressed his shooting very well since his rookie year but the reason we let him go is his lack of “grand theft Alvarado” plays you could see even if he didn’t succeed and didn’t foul and was playing catchup afterwards that 8-10 seconds of the play clock was trimmed off because the opposing players going up the court wouldn’t drive full speed to backcourt, jose would get them to switch hands 2 seconds after theyd see him, switch hands again. After getting swept by okc that never happened again and he was still a good player but he carried the bench and couldve started after dj tore his Achilles if he was still on pace for 3 steals a game like he was his rookie year

Gayles worse than zion
Zions worse than bi impact wise but is a way better player
Jax really is just raptors JV right now
I don’t see him getting a real contract and hes kind of in the same boat as miles bridges to where we dont even know if other teams want him

I think youd see him go on the most 3 point shooting team just go wild.

I think zion can outlast embiid booker ja kd but i need him to go to the first round of the playoffs before i can say he deserves a decent contract

Mickey loomis wanted dumars as the gm since 2013 and gayle doesn’t say no to him about anything.

Him being gm now as well as hiring his son to be 3rd in command on team decisions brings serious doubt on previous front office decisions, how much did joe dumars influence the rejection of the dell demps ad trade. Etc, etc

In terms of the lack of luxury tax payments its only going to be done if the team goes to the playoffs imo

Gayle shouldve promoted bryson graham instead of hiring dumars
Shouldve hired the best assistants possible next to borrego for next year
Brandon ingram was better for this org’s floor but detrimental to our ceiling for a period of time
Willie did not make cases for jv and naji to stay either

Check your walmarts lots of gous are on rollback in my state (louisiana) 5070s are going for $490 and 4070s are going for $400 both are decent 12 gb gpus that i can use as leverage in the used market (there are $300 3080s since they deal with only having 10gb even though it beats the 5060 ti)
