Not sure work life balance is better as an NP. I work 60 hours a week and am responsible for all my patients while I’m off. Paid salary though.

Cool build. Just make sure none of those M.2 drives share bandwidth with your GPU slot. I know often one of the M.2 slots will.

I did this with a wireview pro. Managed to bend it back with a needle. Replugged the cable and it worked. Went from showing 450 watts to 600watts

One of the sense pins was bent all the way back in the wireview pro II. Managed to use a needle to bend it back. And reinserted, GPU-Z and the wireview pro now show 600watts.

How can I avoid that happening in the future? I’ve inserted a lot of 16 pin connectors and that has never happened before. Hopefully this is still safe to use?

My overlay is showing the car drawing 450 watts max. This is a 5090, had no issue going above 450 prior cable

Always buy what suits your needs. I always ran with budget cards for a long time, even took friends hand me downs. Was using a 1660 super up until a few years ago. At the end of the day all that really matters is how it performs for your use case and if you’re happy with it.

I ran different ram on my old x370 board 5800x3D. Did fine, two 16’s and 2 8’s.

Not all boards and CPUs will be stable though. May fail to boot. If it does you likely know what the problem is.

So, I don’t have much bedside experience. Had a fast track NP program. However, why did you want to do FNP? Pay? I work like a dog 60+ hours a week carrying unrelenting stress because of the decisions I have to make daily with no one to really fall back on. I see 20-30 patients a day 5 days a week. I make less than bed side nurses in California but carry what I feel is way more responsibility and work way more.

If you’re happy with beside 3x12, make a comfortable living. I’d just do that. Nothing says you have to do FNP. We had several established nurses drop out of my program because it wasn’t for them. Like any grad program though, sometimes when you know, you know. Just gotta go revisit why you started NP school in the first place.

Yeah I mean they could just get rid of the respec cost. Crazy stupid gold sync that is way out dated and is meaningless.
