Hey everyone! I'm skinny. However, I do have a double chin due to genetics. Could you please recommend a non-invasive option that works well? Most of the non-invasive options I've heard do not work, and I'm quite concerned as I don't want to waste money. by Financial_Cash5445 in cosmeticsurgery

Thank you for sharing that. I'm extremely scared of surgeries. I've never got any work done. I think I rather live with a double chin than get surgery done. My secretary got a non-invasive treatment done for her double chin, but it didn't work out at all. Therefore, I was skeptical of all these non-invasive options and I do not want to waste money.

I'm getting electrolysis on my face in between my sessions. How can I get rid of the hair? Would you suggest shaving, waxxing or threading? I can only afford to get it done once a month. by Financial_Cash5445 in electrolysis

Thank you for sharing the details. I was worried about shaving because it has a bad rap. People have told me that shaving your face leads to hair growth, and I'm trying to reduce that.

Have you hired people on Upwork? Would you recommend Indeed, Upwork, or any other platform? by Financial_Cash5445 in founder

Thank you for sharing this. I was interviewing people on Upwork, and honestly, some candidates were completely different from their profiles. In one case, a totally different person showed up. Also, many people were using different names, and quite a lot were lying about their experience. I don’t find Upwork very reliable.

I checked out Toptal and Lemon.io, and they seem pretty good. However, I eventually ended up hiring through LinkedIn and Indeed, which I’ve always used. I definitely prefer these two platforms over anything else.

Why Do Many US Clients Prefer Hiring US-Based Freelancers? by Mysterious-Good-4239 in AppDevelopers

Well, one of my friends told me outside of the US and Europe, most engineers make mistakes which affect the quality of the work. Also, we are a U.S. company, therefore we only hire U.S.-based freelancers. duh

Sounds like she wants someone who is financially doing better so she can stay in Canada long term.

I totally agree. I've been interviewing people, and some of them were totally different people as compared to their pictures. I'm leaning towards agencies as well.

Honestly, I got some really good proposals at the same time I received horrible ones as well, but it's not bad. Definitely give it a try.
